Most marine problems aren't engine problems — they're electrical problems. Bad ground, corroded connector, wrong wire gauge, dying battery. Our techs are at home in 12V, 24V, and 36V marine systems and we handle the full electrical side of any boat — short of major outboard engine rebuilds.

What We Repair & Install

  • Bilge pumps — repair, replace, wire
  • Livewell pumps & aerators
  • Navigation & deck lighting (LED upgrades)
  • Underwater LED lights
  • Battery banks — lead-acid, AGM, lithium
  • Ionic Lithium battery dealer & installer
  • Onboard battery chargers
  • Trolling motor plugs & receptacles
  • Marine fuse blocks & breakers
  • Switch panels
  • 12V accessory installation
  • USB chargers
  • Marine stereo installation
  • Fish finder installation (Garmin, Humminbird, Lowrance)
  • Transducer mounting (transom, thru-hull, trolling motor)
  • NMEA 2000 networks
  • Parasitic draw diagnostics
  • Marine wiring repair — corrosion, breaks, ground issues

Common Electrical Issues We Diagnose

  • Battery drains overnight — parasitic draw isolation
  • Trolling motor runs slow or one-speed — voltage drop, wire gauge, connector corrosion
  • Bilge pump cycles on/off constantly
  • Livewell pump won't prime
  • Nav lights flicker or fail intermittently
  • Fish finder ghosting or dropping signal — transducer or wiring
  • Onboard charger not bringing batteries to full
  • Spot Lock cutting out — often a battery/voltage issue, not GPS
Lithium upgrade? Switching from lead-acid to lithium isn't just dropping batteries in. You need to verify your charger is lithium-compatible, that your motor's voltage tolerance matches, and that your wiring can handle the increased current. We've done dozens of these conversions — let's do yours right.

Ionic Lithium Batteries

We're an authorized dealer and installer for Ionic Lithium deep-cycle batteries. Lithium gives you 60–70% weight reduction, faster charging, longer cycle life, and stable voltage to the very end of the discharge curve. For a competition angler, that's tangible advantage in the late afternoon when lead-acid customers are dropping speed.

We size the bank for your trolling motor, install the batteries with proper wiring, set up a lithium-compatible charger, and test the full system before you leave.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you do major outboard engine work?

No. We focus on trolling motors, shallow water anchors, and marine electrical systems. For major outboard engine rebuilds we refer you to a specialist. Tune-ups, electrical, and accessory work on outboards are fine.

Can you install Ionic lithium batteries?

Yes — we are an Ionic Batteries dealer and installer. We size the bank, install the batteries, wire the charger, and verify the system for your specific motor and boat.

My bilge pump runs constantly. Is that bad?

Usually it means a stuck float switch, a slow leak, or a wiring issue. We diagnose and fix all three. Running constantly will kill your battery overnight and burn out the pump.

Can you find a parasitic draw that's draining my battery?

Yes. Parasitic draw diagnostics are a regular call for us. We isolate the draw to a specific circuit and repair the cause — bad bilge switch, live livewell pump, stereo memory circuit, etc.
